From a digital agency to a SaaS brand
Hi, I'm Deepak Maurya, founder of Promota, a digital marketing agency based in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Since 2020, I've been helping Indian businesses build their online presence — from local shops to growing startups.
Working with hundreds of clients, I kept seeing the same problems: expensive foreign SaaS tools with no INR pricing, no GST support, and zero understanding of how Indian businesses actually work. My clients were either overpaying or making do without proper tools.
So in 2024, I decided to build Tooldee — a suite of affordable, AI-powered tools designed specifically for the Indian market. Tools that understand GST, accept UPI, and come with support during IST hours.
Today, Tooldee has three products and over 500 businesses using them across India. We're just getting started.
